November 21st - 25th 2022
This second collaborative teacher training activity focused on:
- Each partner presenting the local results and showcasing excellent practice and how digital learning is improving and offering recommendations to partners
- Individual schools and teachers feeding back on their experiences and what has been learnt
- Discussions on the student involvement and how lessons have been progressing in partner schools
- Outside agencies presented what new hardware, software and innovations have been used in the progression
- There also were teacher training workshops delivered by chosen contributors and information sharing sessions
- Each day concluded with reflection on what has been discussed and how this impacts on return to individual schools
- Start to formulate plans for how the good practice guidelines would be formulated and produced
- Each day also focused on how all the good work will be shared and rolled out a) within each country and b) To other countries and partners
The aim/goal of the LTTs was to:
- Compare and contrast activities and skills developed
- Enable students to participate in a pupil conference during which they presented their work to date and participate in activities and workshops investigating and developing digital activities
- We anticipated that this activity would l give students the opportunity to further key competences such as COMMUNICATION, DIGITAL, INITIATIVE AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP and supporting them
in developing global skills - Activities provided students with essential skills for life such as planning, negotiation, discussion, sequencing of events and confidence
- Accompanying teachers would also benefit from professional learning with the project network of teaching staff and educational professionals working collaboratively
- Teachers discussed practical skills/knowledge and understanding gained through earlier activities and discussed how they have implemented change.
